Very colorful 3 dimensional piece. This mural was created from slate, rock and stone materials.

This mural was installed layer upon layer to give it great depth. The facial features were then carved in, creating this very striking embossed effect.

A commissioned piece - and very exciting to create.
Paw prints add interest as well! This entrance has become a real conversation piece for home owner and guests.

with under-mounted sinks.

En Suite Bathroom Tile Installation
Truly art in action - this bathroom must be seen to be fully appreciated. All border work is hand-cut and installed piece by piece. All outside edges are beveled. As well, curved glass blocks were used to great effect in the steam room.
This powder room also installed in the same home as the above en suite bathroom, but designed to create a contrasting look and feel. A concrete vanity with lighted sink gives the slate this warm glow effect.
One of four custom indoor pools designed and installed by Samuel McPeek, The work in this picture shows just how creative design work can get - using only square tile. Design work is balanced throughout the pool area.
En Suite Bathroom Tile Installation
This en suite bathroom and shower sports hand-cut border work on floor and walls, and further demonstrates how plain and simple tiling can result in a stunning outcome. Here, Hop Scotch floor patterning creates a"carpet effect" within the tile configuration.
All border work was implemented on site for this steam room. Hammered limestone creates a warm rustic feel for a very attractive result. Tumbled marble on the floor has a soft feel for the feet, and is very functional. Switching between square and diagonal creates an interesting pattern for the shower. This steam room has been featured in Best Homes Alberta Magazine.
En Suite Bathroom Tile Installation
En suite bathroom - as featured in both local newspapers and Best Homes Alberta Magazine. All edges are rounded and all cuts are symmetrical. Design features include recessed shampoo holders and handles. Rich travertine stone was cut to form the design work, while the black granite is visually stunning. Who says you can't mix different types of stone!?
Slate Kitchen Tile Installation
A mix of three colors of slate makes for this interesting kitchen installation. A curved hand-cut border encases the hardwood, lending flow to the room. Diamond design over the stove sets off the room.
This picture was featured in local newspapers. The herring bone pattern and curved arch with bull-nosed edges creates a stunning stove hood for this rustic kitchen.
Shimmering sand slate creates a remarkable floor and back splash for the full finished cabinets in this breathtaking kitchen.
Celtic Weave Tile Installation
This installation called for a more contemporary design. Dark green tile was inset into a porcelain floor to create this spectacular entrance.
Star Design Den Tile Installation
Just because the slate is square doesn't mean you can't create something interesting. Here, a mix of three types of slate are combined with two colors of granite, becoming a stone carpet for this room.
Polished slate and bull-nosed granite are mixed to create this featured fireplace. Notice the Hop Scotch pattern is completely symmetrical throughout the fireplace design.
This stairway is complimented by the Full Moon Wolf Mural to create a memorable entrance to this home. The stairs are not slippery and all edges are bull-nosed. Borders are hand-cut and risers match border work throughout the home. Truly original.
Den And Hall Tile Installation
Polished stone creates a beautiful floor for this den. Not shown in the picture are slate stairs with bull-nosed edges.
Many people like hardwood - but find it doesn't stand up in an entrance. In this installation, an island of stone was created with hand-cut borders for a durable "stone carpet" entrance.
Spiral Staircase Tile Installation
Broken slate and hand-cut border follow the stair contour, making for a compelling floor design. In the hands of Samuel McPeek, square tile can be made to do almost anything.

Abstract Knot Slate Design and Installation
Exotic slate was hand cut and installed at varying heights to create this effect.
The client requested something eye catching and distinctive to showcase this area, which led to the creation of this three dimensional piece.
This piece was designed to showcase the breathtaking nature and beauty of British Columbia. Featuring a great blue heron, arbutus tree and beach scene in slate, marble, and quartz, this piece makes passersby stop and stare. The heron and select branches and leaves are brought out into three dimensions on the face of a building with three different angles. The clouds are carved for a soft, pillowly like appearance.
Tile and stone was used to create an eye catching backsplash that fits well with the kitchen design and decor.
